kindness

empathy

inside

outside my skin

disconnected

seeking 

age be damned

wisdom a farce

comfort in no way

only desire to run 

life isn’t easier with time

where has life gone

where have I gone

dreams slip away

knowing they wouldn’t have 

been caught if chased

alone in my car

fuels my soul
